Newborn sessions with me are relaxed, unhurried, and centered around your new little love. We can stay cozy at home, wander down to the beach, or do a little of both. I’ll guide you when you need it, but mostly I want you to settle in, love on your baby, and let these first days be exactly what they are.

As a lifestyle newborn photographer, my approach is relaxed, baby-led, and focused on the connection already unfolding between you. Whether we’re cozy at home or spending a quiet evening by the ocean, I’ll guide you through the details and let your baby set the pace. No rushing, no expectations, and nothing you need to make happen.
1. LET’S GET YOU ON THE CALENDAR
Reach out via my contact form and tell me a little about your growing family and the newborn session you’re envisioning. If baby hasn’t arrived yet, we’ll reserve your session based on your due date and wait to choose the actual date.
Once your little one is here, send me a message and we’ll find the perfect day. Babies have their own timelines, so we’ll let yours lead the way.
2. Welcome to the client lounge
Once you’re booked, you’ll have access to my Client Lounge with everything you need to feel prepared, including what to expect, what to wear, and simple tips for getting ready.
We’ll also talk about whether an in-home session or one of my favorite South Bay beach locations feels most like you. Either way, we’ll keep things relaxed and true to this season.
3. baby sets the pace
There’s no need to worry about whether your baby will sleep or “cooperate.” Newborn sessions are slow and flexible, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, soothing, or taking a break whenever your little one needs it.
I’ll gently guide you along the way, but mostly I want you to settle in and love on your baby. The moments we’re looking for are already happening.
Within three weeks, you’ll receive your finished photographs in a beautiful online gallery, ready to download, share, and print.

How do I book?
Just reach out through my contact form and tell me a little about your growing family and the newborn session you’re envisioning. I’ll send over everything you need to make it official.
Once your contract is signed and deposit is paid, you’re booked! If baby isn’t here yet, I’ll note your due date and we’ll wait until your little one arrives to choose the actual session date. Easy, flexible, and one less thing to worry about.
Should we do our newborn photos at home or at the beach?
You really can’t go wrong with either. It just depends on what feels most like you.
An in-home session is cozy, intimate, and wonderfully easy in those early days. We’ll capture your family right where life is unfolding, snuggled on the bed, curled up on the couch, or loving on your baby in the nursery you created just for them.
A beach session has a different kind of magic. Bare feet, salty air, beautiful South Bay light, and plenty of room for older siblings to move and play. It’s relaxed, a little more adventurous, and perfect for families who feel most at home by the ocean.
And if you love the idea of both, we can do that too. We’ll start at home for those quiet, cozy moments, then head to the beach and finish the evening at sunset. It’s a beautiful way to tell the whole story of these first days.

When will I get my photos?
Your fully edited images will be delivered within three weeks in a beautiful online gallery, ready to download, share, and print with ease.
Newborn sessions are also a perfect time to create an album. There’s something extra special about having these first days preserved somewhere you can actually hold, flip through, and someday share with the little person in the photographs. I’m happy to take care of creating one for you.
I recommend booking your newborn session at least a month before your due date so I can plan for your little one’s arrival. But no need to guess exactly when baby will make their debut. We’ll wait to choose the actual session date until they’re here.
Once baby arrives, send me a message within the first few days and we’ll find a date that feels right for you and your new little family.

Anywhere from 1–6 weeks is a beautiful time for newborn photos, and there’s no need to rush. Because my approach is lifestyle-focused, we have a little more flexibility than a traditional posed newborn session.
Those first few weeks tend to be extra sleepy and snuggly, while waiting a little longer can mean more open eyes, tiny expressions, and a family that’s had a little more time to settle in.
There’s no perfect week. The best time is when you feel ready.
