How are FINE ART school portraits different than regular school photos?

My style of photos is meant to be casual and fun! I focus on connecting with the kids to provide a relaxed environment where they can feel comfortable. No "say cheese" or awkward posing here! My goal is to capture the child in an authentic way that highlights their unique self.

On picture day, each child is photographed in a predetermined location.  This can be either indoor with a simple, neutral backdrop or outdoor to showcase your school's beautiful campus. 

Each child receives their images in both black & white and color, delivered digitally in an online gallery.  The family can choose which photos they want. In addition to digital images and standard prints, I offer beautiful boutique product like canvas gallery wraps.  Everything is ordered online and any physical orders will be delivered to the school within 4 weeks.

Detailed instructions will be provided to the school prior to photo day. This will include ordering instructions and shoot day preparation to be distributed to families.  I'll walk you through every step.

I provide all equipment and personnel needed on photo day.

I handle any questions from parents about ordering products.

I will take staff and class photos if needed.

I will make sure the whole process is seamless from start to finish!

Where do you take school photos?

There is NO cost to the school.  All profit comes from orders.  I have competitive rates and offer a variety of a-la-carte products to fit everyone's needs. Parents only pay for the photos they want, after they've viewed the images and are never obligated to buy.  

While Spring and Fall tend to be the typical times for school photos, I'm available year round.  We'll work together to find a date that meets your needs.

I will visit your school prior to photo day to determine the best spot to take the photos.  This may be in an unused classroom or other open space.  Or we can find a place outdoors if a natural setting is your preference.
